Broadcasts
Sending a message to many contacts at once, and doing it without getting your number banned.
A broadcast sends the same message to many contacts as individual chats. Each person receives an ordinary one-to-one message — they don't see other recipients and they don't know it was a broadcast.
Broadcasts are available on Growth and Scale.
Sending one
- Go to Broadcasts and create one.
- Choose recipients — filter by label, or select contacts.
- Write the message.
- Review the recipient count, then send.
Recipients are de-duplicated by the chat they'd actually land in, so a contact reachable two ways receives one message rather than two.
It goes out gradually
Tenashi paces a broadcast rather than firing everything at once. This is not a performance limitation — a burst of identical messages is precisely the pattern WhatsApp's spam detection looks for. Pacing is what keeps your number alive.
Larger broadcasts therefore take longer. That is the feature working.
The rules that keep your number safe
Message people who have messaged you. WhatsApp treats unsolicited bulk messaging harshly, and the penalty falls on your number, not on Tenashi.
Give them a reason to want it. The metric that matters isn't delivery, it's whether people block or report you. A broadcast that gets blocked twenty times will cost you the number.
Don't send the same text repeatedly. Vary it. Identical mass messages are the clearest possible signal.
Start small on a new number. A number with little history sending hundreds of messages looks exactly like a burner. Daily limits scale with how long your number has been active for this reason.
Tracking
Each broadcast records what was sent and to whom, so you can see delivery and follow up on replies — which arrive back in the inbox as normal conversations.
