Follow-ups and reminders
Set a reminder on a conversation so a thread that needs chasing doesn't quietly disappear.
Most lost business isn't lost to a competitor. It's lost to nobody following up. Follow-ups exist for the conversation you need to return to on Thursday and would otherwise forget by Wednesday.
Setting one
From a conversation, set a follow-up and choose when — later today, tomorrow, next week, or a specific date and time.
The conversation shows a small badge counting down, so you can see at a glance what's due.
They're personal
A follow-up belongs to the person who set it. It appears in their Follow-ups list and nobody else's, so a shared inbox doesn't turn into a shared pile of everyone's reminders.
When one fires
You get a notification, it appears in Reminders on your dashboard, and you can be emailed. Clicking through takes you straight back to the conversation.
Overdue
The dashboard shows Follow-ups due as a live count. Anything overdue stays there until it's dealt with — it doesn't quietly expire, which would defeat the purpose.
Groups too
Follow-ups work on group chats as well as direct messages.
Clearing one
Clear the follow-up when you've dealt with it, or set a new one to push it further out.
