Inviting your team
Add colleagues to your workspace, and control what each of them can see and do.
Tenashi is a shared inbox — it earns its keep when more than one person is in it. Everyone works from the same conversations, so there's no forwarding screenshots or asking "did anyone reply to this?"
Invite someone
- Go to Settings → Team.
- Enter their email address and send the invitation.
- They accept, set a password, and land in the same workspace.
The number of agents you can have depends on your plan — see Plans and billing.
Roles
Owner and admin can change workspace settings, manage the team, connect and disconnect numbers, and handle billing.
Member works the inbox: reads, replies, assigns, and manages the CRM records attached to conversations.
Permissions
Beyond the role, each member has individual permissions you can switch off — replying, managing contacts, sending broadcasts, managing automations, managing the team, billing, and exporting data.
These are open by default. A new member can do the everyday things without you configuring anything; you turn off only what you specifically want to restrict. See Roles and permissions for the full list.
Restricting someone to certain conversations
You can limit a member to conversations carrying particular labels — useful when an agency handles one client, or a contractor should only see one product line.
A restriction like this always includes their own assigned chats, so it can never accidentally hide their own work from them.
What everyone sees
Every member sees the same conversation history for the chats they have access to, including notes and internal discussion. Assignment decides who is responsible, not who is allowed to look — the point of a shared inbox is that someone else can pick up a thread when a colleague is away.
